River Ishasha

The Ishasha is a river in southwest Uganda, forming part of the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It runs from its source north of Kabale to its mouth at Lake Edward. Its length is very roughly 100 kilometres, ignoring the many small meanders. Ishasha River runs through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kigezi. It is known for its scenic beauty and is a popular spot for game viewing, especially for hippos and other wildlife.
